A diving trip is underway in the harbor of Cherbourg as part of Camille Carpentier‘s thesis – CARBOREEF Project. This campaign is carried out on the “RECIF” website. It aims to characterize the global metabolism of artificial structures submerged for 5 and 10 years and to monitor the associated biodiversity.
On the program :
- Primary production measurements and photosynthesis analysis using benthic bells and different PAM fluorimeter (Diving-PAM, Monitoring PAM) – On eco-designed structures or not.
- Counting flora / fauna present on the site.
- Implementation of new protocols: Measurement of the global melabolism of structures.
- Phytoplankton and microphytobenthos sampling
- and others…
- Participants: Camille Carpentier, Clara Massinot, Christophe Roger, Maël Deloor, Pascal Claquin
