Research Activities
My research focuses on understanding the physiological responses of marine mollusks to environmental stressors. I am particularly interested in the long-term effects of environmental stress, which can compromise organismal health. My work investigates the molecular and cellular mechanisms involved in the response to single and combined contaminants, with a focus on defense systems, immune function, and biomineralization processes.
I work across multiple biological levels, from the whole organism (survival, immune function) to the molecular and cellular scale (cell cultures, qPCR). My research involves a combination of in situ and controlled laboratory experiments, including in vivo and in vitro approaches using primary hemocyte cultures.
Main Research Programs
I teach in the Faculty of Sciences, Department of Biology and Earth Sciences (University of Caen Normandy) at undergraduate (L1–L3) and graduate (M1–M2) levels in the Marine Sciences curriculum.
My teaching includes lectures, tutorials, lab sessions, and fieldwork.

I also participate in science communication and public engagement events, including Fête de la Science and scientific photo exhibitions.
