“The Normandy coastline is planned to become France’s main producer of wind energy by 2030. Offshore wind farms have socio-environmental impacts, both positive and negative. Wind farm structures act as artificial reefs, creating new habitats that can increase local productivity, but they also lead to issues such as the establishment of non-indigenous species, habitat degradation, and alterations to carbon fluxes.” PASCAL CLAQUIN
