“The Whole Sea on a Platter” Granville; October 3 and 4

MERSEA will be taking part in the “Toute la mer sur un plateau” festival on October 3 and 4, organized by SPL des Ports de la Manche, which manages the Granville fish auction, in collaboration with the Granville Shellfish and Crustacean Festival Association.

Granville is France’s leading shellfish port, where whelks are the second most-landed species after scallops. Come and taste them during this weekend!

As part of the CCLIMB’UP programme, we will be offering two workshops focusing on whelks:

“Is this whelk male or female?” and “How old is this whelk?”
