Weekend of June 20–21:
Sampling in Port-en-Bessin (measurements and collections by Jean-Paul ROBIN).


Monday, June 22:
A diving mission is scheduled for the afternoon in Cherbourg as part of the Carboreef project.

Project reminder: Study of impacts on primary carbon production (more information in “Theses”).
Underwater inspection operations, sampling, observation, and scientific monitoring on artificial reefs and structures in the harbor of Cherbourg (both inside and outside) within the framework of the CarboReef project.

Operations take place when weather conditions are favorable, depending on the tide.

Tuesday, June 23:
Sampling for the MOBIDIC project (by Jean-Paul ROBIN).


Wednesday, June 24:A diving mission is scheduled for late afternoon as part of the Sarg’Alien project, in Courseulles-sur-Mer.

Project reminder: Scientific intervention on sargassum fields and other algal species. Underwater observation, measurements, sampling, light handling tasks, photo and video documentation. Operations take place when weather conditions are favorable, depending on the tide.

A full-day activity will take place in Courseulles-sur-Mer: squid fishing (Joël Henry, Maureen Prédhomme, Marius Grandjean, and Frédéric Guyon). The same operation will be repeated on Friday, June 26.

Thursday, June 25: A meeting of the North Sea Scientific Council will be held in Fécamp, including a visit to an offshore wind farm as part of the MOBIDIC project.


Additional note:
A conference organized by the French Association of Fisheries Science will take place in Rennes on diversity in socio-ecosystems, lasting throughout the week of June 22.

In parallel, equipment will be collected in Cherbourg on June 22, 24, and 25.

The COMOR scientific campaign is being launched, with the objective of annually assessing the abundance of the scallop stock.
